Obituary
On Wednesday, April 18, 1984, the angels came from heaven and visited the Decatur Co. Hospital and kindly sealed the lips of our loved one. Her soul took flight to an unknown world where there will be no more tears, no more pain.
She was born December 10, 1903 to the Late Willie and Mary Scott in Decatur County, Tn. She was married to the late Homer Kindle. To this union, two children were born, the late Doris Scott and Irene Craig. She united with Freedman Chapel A.M.E. Chuirch at an early age, where she was a very faithful and dedicated member. until her illness would no longer allow her to be at church; but her illness didn't affect her power and trudt in God, and her willingness to work for the growth and upbuilding of the church and community.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three grandchildren, William H. Scott, Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Margaret Kizer, Nashville, Tn. and Jerry Craig, Nashville; three sisters, Mrs. Lessie Yarbro and Mrs. Velora Fisher, both of Decaturville, and Mrs. Margaret Stanton, Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Dover Scott, Decaturville; one brother-in-law, Robert Stanton, one sister-in-law, Mrs. Roxie Scott, nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
