OBITUARY
Mrs. Eva Emilla Jean Eanes was born February 22, 1944 to Mr. Horace Broyles and Mrs. Eva Brashers Broyles, who preceded her in death. She departed this life at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital on May 11, 1993 at the age of forty-nine. She was employed at H.I.S. Sportswear in Saltillo, Tennessee.
Mrs. Eanes united with St. Paul A. M. E. Church at an early age. She was an active member in the church and performed the following services: Steward, Trustee, financial secretary, member of the choir, kitchen chairperson, St. Paul Director of the YPD, Class Leader and a faithful member of the Sunday School as long as her health prevailed. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary No. 241.
She was united in holy matrimony to Willie Robert Eanes February 19, 1962. To this union, three children were born.
Mrs. Eanes leaves to mourn her passing; a devoted husband, Willie R. Eanes; children: Sharley L. (Kevin) Cunningham of Jackson, Tennessee, Willie R. (Penny) Eanes, Jr., of Savannah, Tennessee, Feleatha R. (Michael) Hyde of Clear Spring, Maryland; a brother, Laverne (Claudia) Broyles of Dayton, Ohio; sisters: Carolyn (Johnny) McDaniel of Flint, Michigan, Linda Broyles of Dayton, Ohio; sisters-in-law: Stevalene Broyles and Geraldine Brashers of Dayton, Ohio, Jackie (Roger) Edwards of Flint, Michigan; three grandchildren; an aunt, Mable Brashers; mother-in-law, Bessie Eanes; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
