Ernest Reed Sr. [on tractor] and unidentified salesman pose for photograph with one of the first tractors used in Henderson County. The photograph was taken while clearing a field in Beech River bottom near the Shady Hill Road. The land is part of the original land grant made to Joseph Reed.
