The photograph above shows the Fairview Gullies in Natchez Trace State Park in the late 1940s.(Roby Fiddler stands on the first ridge.) Much of the "Resettlement Area" was either badly eroded or marginally productive land. This photograph was taken by Sol Brasher of Parsons. The image above was scanned from W. V.
