This volume is lovingly dedicated to my Uncle and Aunt, Connie V. and Mae Washburn Maxwell, who without their help socially, educational and religious, down the pathway of life, it would have never been written., and to my Grandmother, Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Tennessee White (Lizzie) Washburn, who took me as a five weeks baby, after my Mother's death and reared me.
